“Since i met Steven 4 months ago he has helped me greatly with various health issues I’ve been battling with. I was still in recovery from Hepatitis C and he has helped me a lot. My immune system was very low and my metabolism felt very sluggish. One of the first hypnotherapy sessions he did with me was to boost my metabolism which I feel has really helped my energy levels. He has helped me with asthma and allergies, and also recurring bad memories from a negative relationship. He has also helped me deal with major and minor aches and pains. He keeps up with the leading research on health and makes brilliant connections for himself which takes his work further. I’ve also watched him work with others and seen wonderful sustained results. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone for any health issue.” Aline MacInnes – Counsellor & Holistic Therapist
“Steven visited me at home and spent an hour and a half with me. I found him to be intelligent, articulate, professional and above all informative. He is well read, educated and qualified to explain and advise. What I found to be immensely important for me was his ability to get inside my head and to address the negativity and low self esteem I have suffered from all my adult life.” Heather Bowdidge
Steven, If I can help one person come to you and it helps their life the way you have mine then I want to share this testimonial of my experience.
I have known Steven for three years and, in that time, he has proved to be proficient, effective and very sincere in all he does. Recently I have had cause and found the inward courage to undergo a time line session, with Steven as my guide. I had originally gone for help with weight loss and Steven had observed issues I presented, he thought best dealt with first. The outcome from this session was mind blowing. What Steven does is to give you the belief and courage so YOU find the reasons for yourself. My word, he certainly did that with me. I was sceptical, but not a closed door to the whole idea. We started on the timeline after some initial quite unobtrusive questioning and general relaxation and I was not prepared – at all (I did feel, as I am sure most people would, very self conscious and aware I was out of my comfort zone – but again, Steven’s mannerism and calm aura certainly impact on all that). He appreciates a person feels they may look silly standing in a room and doing relaxation exercises…..but he does make you soon feel at ease so don’t be put off, its very liberating and great for self confidence!
So, I am walking down my time line and suddenly, genuinely, I felt an impact in my life (at age 5 or 6)……and I could not move. I tried. I was rooted. It was then obvious to me (not just blatantly apparent to Steven) that this needed dealing with. Steven talked me through how to deal with myself at 5 as a now adult in my late thirties. So I today was talking to myself then. WOW. So powerful. So emotional, overwhelming and my God, all the things I had previously struggled with and had a stutter over on the initial time line preparation had vanished. That SINGLE change of mindset at something perceived as a 5 year old that, to be honest as an adult I wouldn’t react to, or indeed, if I did, I would now have the sarcasm to throw it back with the humour it was originally meant. In my session with Steven’s guidance, I dealt with this by my adult self holding, reassuring and reasoning with my 5 year old self and hearing her views on it and feelings from a single comment – this has changed the way I deal with things already! I felt tears streaming down my face, a reaction to this whole event BUT it was the tears from the 5 year old me running down my adult face. Tears to my adult self for reacting that way and seeing now that it was silly and that the 5 year old me was crying because her misreading of the “then” comment had framed and impacted so heavily on the rest of my life between then and now. Its was truly inspirational although incredibly moving and certainly evoked powerful emotions from myself now and at age 5.
I will say, currently, this has not fixed the issue totally so don’t go to Steven and put pressure on yourself to be fixed immediately after one session. You may find you are. But, if you have an issue locked away in you that has been there (in my case unnoticed, not dealt with, still traumatised by a flippant misunderstanding in a child’s world) it may take a few weeks and months for you to believe in and have the confidence in the new way your mind thinks after Steven’s session. But you will. If it happened overnight I would be more concerned that a genuine feeling or way of self perception that I had held on to for 30 years suddenly vanished, I would then be looking for some other feeling to fill that gap as I would feel vulnerable without “something” there – but a gradual replacing of that unjustified feeling is certainly working well.
Steven is fantastic. He is sincere. He is reliable. He talks, he doesn’t judge. But moreover, he listens. He reasons. He does not criticise, belittle, doubt or patronise. He is genuine and, although you will leave his session thinking, a lot…..you will leave his session positive, self believing and ready to embark on a journey either alone or with Steven to combat the issue you had before you walked through his door.
A second session I had with Steven, this time for hypnosis and focussing on the weight issue. I had never been hypnotised before and was very unsure and nervous even though I trust Steven completely. I needn’t have worried, as usual he put me totally at ease and explained the process thoroughly and we went ahead. Yes, I fought the hypnosis, not to be awkward, but I think anyone would for the initial session if it is an “unknown” situation to be in. But I still found myself going under due to the way Steven delivers the verbal communication, the tone, the safety and the general overall feeling of confidence and invitation to accept the help he offers through this process. All those things in conjunction with my asking for his help, made me realise I should give-it-a-go and relax!!! The images my mind produced were – unexpected. The background was red, the colour of eye lids when your eyes are closed….I wasn’t alarmed by this, then as Steven asked me to put my fears about being slim in a box and assured me someone would come now and take them away……(individual details removed)…. This was my unconscious mind protesting very clearly at the removal of my “stay fat safety blanket” that I have carried for far too long. If I am fat then the issues that I had when I was slim wouldn’t happen again…..this putting them in a box to be taken away was obviously too much for my unconscious to deal with. But blimey – how powerful and WE dealt with it. Steven didn’t put images in my head or thoughts or reactions. He just said we would take away the reason, the smoke screen, the worry……but having had that for twenty years now is a hard façade to let go of, a scary place to face with no wall, no barrier, no security blanket. Letting go is hard. But realising you can and it really is ok to let it go and then possessing the liberty of understanding is literally like unlocking a previously bolted door and watching the once shaded lawn be flooded with warm sunshine. - Client wishes to remain anonymous due to the personal nature of details given.
“It’s hard to remember what happens in a session with Steven because the work is very complete and the urge is to just move on without the problem, and I have. What I do remember is that Steven’s presence was kind and thoughtful and I felt it very easy to be totally honest with him. His obvious skill at finding resolutions to difficult states of mind made it very easy to trust the process he guided me through.” Carol Rudd –Psychotherapist and Author
“Steven is a talented and skilful coach and NLP Master Practitioner. He has exceptional rapport skills and approaches life and work with charm and good humour. I can whole heartedly recommend him to people who wish to improve their lives and work with someone who truly cares.” Kate McCartney – NLP Master Practitioner and NLP Trainer
“Steven exudes a calming and supportive energy, which makes him extremely easy to approach. A lovely trait to have……” Fiona Gall
“A wonderful therapist Steven understands the mind and body connexion in illness and is passionate to help people enjoy health and happiness” — John Edward Boulton
“Check out my friend…Steven Blake……he is awesome. Please all of you….read this….and pass it on to someone you know with M.E……This man changed my life…….” Lynda (Lynda was my first client with M.E.)
“Congratulations Steven, thanks to your therapy I found out today I’m pregnant. Strangely I also received notification today from my Doctor that he thinks there is no way I will be able to conceive naturally” – (Name withheld)
“You’re a bloody Genius I say. Will let u know more in another 2 weeks.” ” I knew you was working – it went unnoticed 2 the other party. would certainly recommend you.” A.W.
“I would like to congratulate you on successfully stopping my hot flushes. As you know I was very sceptical that this was at all possible. Prior to visiting you I averaged about 7 hot flushes a day that were intense, distressing and really debilitating. In the two months since I came to you I have not had a hot flush and on only 3 instances started to feel one coming on and used the off switch you taught me to stop it in its tracks. You are a true professional and your calm manner and thoughtfulness enabled the process to be pleasant as well as very effective. Thank you once again for giving me my life back.” Sarah G….. Sleaford
“Steven, I saw your presentation on escaping chronic fatigue and pain and it was a well informed, well presented and provided real insight as to how it may be possible to achieve outstanding results. The case study you gave was remarkable, and indeed the other examples provided food for thought. Having seen you work with clients, and interact with others in social and training situations I for one would certainly vouch for your skills 100%. It’s a pity that there are some who still hold onto old beliefs, and cannot allow the possibilities to develop in relation to giving relief to chronic pain sufferers. Keep up the good work, and don’t be put off by the “doubting Thomas” brigade.” Steve Adams
Note from Steven Blake: These testimonials reflect only a few of my clients, most of whom had suppressed deep traumas and therefore it would have been insensitive to expect written feedback about things they have only just come to terms with. The therapeutic methods I use tend to work at the unconscious level and often reduce or remove the conscious aspects as they are no longer needed. Most client’s have difficulty in remembering what they originally came for, which in its self is a testimonial of it having worked. You may notice that I am the choice of many professionals seeking self help, in fact I deliberately seek out and welcome those who feel that other forms of therapy or therapists have not worked for them!

User Testimonials for the Spreadsheets I give away:
You are the king of Excel, we’ve used the budget one you shared online for some planning work, so many thanks, owe you a beer or two. Andy Coley
During two interviews with major finance companies, I was informed by both directors, that the prepared Business Plan and the associated documents that I had produced with your help had “clinched the deal” for my business finance even though my business was only a new start, and lacked security. Alex Belekon
The computer programme, which I understand was put together by you, is so easy to understand, it helps one work out whether or not your potential business is going to actually work in the real world! The quality of material available is of such a high level, it has been inspirational. I have been able to work hard at developing my own Business Plan which is not only impressive, realistic and encouraging, but it has been recognised by my bank and has enabled me to get the finance necessary to start my business. Their comments were very positive. It seems there are many people in Boston who are aware of your programme and have nothing but high regard for “Steven Blake and his team”! I have found myself achieving, what I once thought impossible, Thank you Steven, you are a true inspiration. Alison
Hi Steven, Many thanks for the holiday spreadsheets, they are just what I have been looking for, I really do appreciate it. Kind Regards Donna
I think your Gantt chart spread sheet is fine for where I am at the moment. We’ve already changed a few things around which will shorten our house buying process by a week.
thanks Paul Ramsey.
I was going to write similar spreadsheets from scratch but yours will free up some time for me to do other stuff – many thanks in advance.
Hi Steven I have just read a number of forums which lead me to your wonderful web page that has just the program I have been looking for, being the ‘Holiday Tracker’ If possible I would love to be able to download this, and am hoping you can assist. Thanks so much.
Hi Steven, I’m interested in your holiday / sickness tracker spreadsheet and after looking at a few similar options think yours offers the best mix of functionality, simplicity and reporting. Can you forward me the relevant details – many thanks. We are a 40 employee company. Regards David Bernard
Hi Thank you for your fast response; this is just what I am looking for. I really like the fact that the dates scroll with the page so you always get the information tying up correctly. I take it if the dates are changed in all the sections it sets the calendar with the year. Thanks for your help.
Steven, Thanks very much for your quick response. After a quick look this morning I think this will be perfect. We are looking to set up a new system with effect from Jan 08. The system used here so far is a bit slap dash for my liking so I am hoping to lick it into shape. I think your system will achieve the desired results. Thanks again, will recommend others check out your site.
Regards Diane Marsh
Steven, I have looked through the tabs etc and I think they will be just the job for me. Thanks for your help on this one. They are easy to use and very visual so you don’t fall asleep when inputting your data. regards Daman Hillyer
Steve, Many thanks for the holiday sheets. Impressed by how quickly you have responded and the actual spread sheets. I will put them to our directors and see if they like it. Once again thanks.

Good Grief Steven, this is a powerful model, I have hardly started with it and it’s addressing precisely the areas that I had been seeking to determine. I had calculated – product-by-product – that my business made sense once up & running: but in accruing it all into sales and P&L I was challenged for a business / accounting model to show how it would reach that stage. I searched the internet with the hope of finding a good example of a business plan – your tool is so much more. In fact, my initial funding request generated very strong negative feedback – about a lack of forecasting and planning. Your “business idea tester” has so far done more than plug that hole, it’s providing an entire superstructure (I already had decent foundations having researched my costs and sales prices in detail, having some expertise in this area). Part of my business plan is a subscription model – so I changed your spreadsheet to generate cumulative total in one of the product sales rows, it works very well, but the pay-per-view unit sales of 5p are far more numerous and less significant than the higher unit sales of £20k – so the aggregate total number of sales is looking a little meaningless at the moment. In truth it’s a test of spirit to fill out all the fields for start-up costs etc It is forcing me to deal with the realities. These boil down to the fact that my start-up capital requirement is higher than I’d thought (I’d tried not to think about it for fear of losing faith in yet another idea) and my sales projections make me realise how hard I am going to have to work to push the products and services until we build inertia. I am still ploughing through, and will keep you posted, but wanted to send an early “thanks” as it is already proving so useful.
With regards, Michael Langridge

Many thanks, Peter.
I am jut about to start writing an excel sheet to track leave entitlements / days taken when I checked the net and found your generous offer. If it is still open I would appreciate a copy of your version to save reinventing the wheel. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Steven, First of all, my greatest thanks to you for your spreadsheet on Excel. It is an excellent guide and aid for those thinking of starting new businesses, which I am sure you have been told on numerous occasions. I am a student at DeMontort University and am doing a project which involves starting up a new business. This involves the preparation of a business plan as well as a final presentation. It is a shame that I just came across your spreadsheet today when the deadline is tomorrow for the business plan. Thank you for your time in reading my email and I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience.
Thank You, Zainul Mussa
That’s great Steven, thanks. I tried putting one together myself but it didn’t come out as good as yours.
Thanks Brian Myers
Steven, Thank you so much. There are parts of your sheet that will help immensely. Cheers,
Kind regards, Stephen Chiappa
Hi Steven, many thanks for replying so promptly and for sharing the Gannt Chart Spreadsheet. I am pleased to say that I had a go today following your notes and formulae’s and have succeeded in creating my own Gannt Chart!! I did tweak my spreadsheet before I was able to make it work the way yours did. My spreadsheet had overlapping dates and blank lines (unlike yours) as my milestones overlapped in specific areas. Hence I had to alter it so that there are no overlapping of dates and blank lines. As I am rusty using Excel it took me a bit longer to create the X-axis however I got there in the end. Thanks to you I can now use your spreadsheet to map other Gannt charts which I might need to create in my course or at work in the future. If you have any other good tips on how to use Excel or other application packages either to calculate or create charts etc. which you do not mind sharing with others I would welcome them! Well done Steven and thanks once again.
Kind regards, Marthese Morris
Dear Steven, thank you so much for the worksheets. They worked brilliant for me and it was what i was looking for. Once again i really appreciate for sending me the program and i myself being a freelance graphics designer if there is anything i can help with graphically…..let me know and i will do my best to deliver your need.
Thanks a lot, Kiran Gurung
Hi Steven, thank you for sending these spreadsheets to me and please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to you. I have implemented them into another company I work for, Creative Photos Ltd and found them to be ideal for our needs
. They have also inspired me
to work on improving a timesheet that I maintain for our 50 plus employees. Each month I have maintain this for our part time employees who work all manner of hours and then the data is inputted manually into Iris Paymaster. The work on clearing the previous months hours, bonuses, holidays, expenses etc can be quite tedious but your spreadsheet has gone someway to help me improve the way I work
. I have a blog http://linkslifeandhealth.blogspot.com
(in its very early days) and with your blessing I would like to put a write up and a link to your site as I think it is most useful to others.
Kind regards, Vanessa
Hi Steven , thank you very much for the information (and Gantt Chart spreadsheet). I discovered after emailing you that our IT department were able to organise the project package to be uploaded onto my system. They are offering training sessions too!!
Thanks again. Cathy
I’m pretty new to the culture of project management, so thank you for sending me this easy-to-use Gantt chart. I’ll send you a note if I have any ideas.

Absolutely fantastic service Steve!

Kindest regards, Paul Gardner
Hi Steven, I was wondering if you are still providing the Flexi Holiday Tracker and if so would love to get hold of a copy for 2009. I used it this year and it has been a wonderful management tool and enabled me to keep track of our numerous staff comings and goings! What else do you do? Keep up the good work.
All the best Diana Stephens
Steven, It is that time again – is there any chance to get these spreadsheets. I use them almost on a daily basis……
Good morning Steven, Thank you very much for forwarding on your spreadsheet. I found it very helpful, hassle free and very quick & easy to use.
Hi Steven thanks for the sheets they are exactly what I was looking for. Everyone visible on one page. Again thanks Claire
Steven, I have previously used your holiday tracker and found it very good. Could you please send me another copy of it. Regards, Mick
Hi Steven, Many thanks for your Gantt Chart spreadsheet. I have now given my lecture on programming to our 3rd Year students and they have been using a combination of MS Project and MS Excel. The Microsoft website make recommendations on using Excel to produce a Gantt chart using horizontal bar charts, which we have done. Your spreadsheet appears to follow the same principle, but clearly your standard of presentation is much more advanced. MS Project is an expensive piece of software and the occasional user in a small organisation would be reluctant to pay out for this. The MS Excel requires a certain level of expertise in spreadsheet use. So I think there may well be a market for your spreadsheet Gantt Chart, for people who need a simple to use package to produce a straightforward Gantt chart, provided it is at a very reasonable price. I hope this is of some help. Regards, Steve Jones Senior Lecturer Department of Engineering University of Liverpool
Steven, have given your spreadsheet to 5 pupils (16 years old) 2 I have shown how to use and 3 I have not. I will let you know the feedback as soon as they have completed the exercise for their project work. I found it easy to use and complete so I am sure that it will be very positive.
Many thanks and kind regards Chris
Hi Steven, Thanks so much received the spreadsheets today and inserted all holidays and sickness straight away, already I can see that its going to be so much better than what we had, and was very easy to understand and use. We have only a small office, but it was still hard to keep an eye on what was happening. Thank you very much.
Kind Regards, Nicola Saxelby
Hi Steven I just wanted to say thank you very much for sending me your spreadsheet and wanted to tell you how good and easy to use it is!! I am the HR coordinator for a relatively small training company so don’t have the access to large company tracking systems so have always relied on my own system, which was similar to yours but yours is better in terms of being able to visually see the whole month on one page, its easy to print off as well and give to line managers to enable them to see who’s off and when.
Kind regards & thanks again, Michelle Phelan
Hi Steven, Thank you so much.. I think I love you.. LOL ) Just goes to show that a little politeness gets you a long way… Thank you again, I will let you know how I go along with this project.
Have a good evening Jackie Bradford
Dear Steven, I don’t know how to thank you, this was what I am looking for. I appreciate your help.
Best Regards, Hani Abou Al Aynien
Thanks so much for these… They’re absolutely fantastic!! Being able to change the year and swap the tabs around… It’s exactly what we were looking for I can’t thank you enough for offering it free of charge!
